The Himalaya Homes Office Building (Station 6 at Lake Stevens) is a commercial office building that housed the headquarters for Himalaya Homes (a residential developer). The 12,000 square foot building spans 2 stories and was built in a newly developed commercial area in Lake Stevens. After Corstone was approximately 25% complete with the project, the owner realized that a significant tax savings could be realized if the project reached substantial completion by the end of the year. In order to accommodate the owner, Corstone accelerated the schedule to reach substantial completion 4 weeks earlier than originally contracted. Our ability to do so resulted in valuable tax savings for the Owner. Corstone has returned to the building to complete several Tenant Improvement projects for the owner and tenants.
