Martha Lake Fire Center

Lynnwood, WA

A publicly funded project, Martha Lake Fire Station was awarded to Corstone via a competitive bid process and required Prevailing Wages. Corstone completed Phases I and II in December 2008, allowing the Fire District to occupy the facility. Substantial completion occurred in April 2009. The project consisted of 3 Phases:

Phase I: Partial demolition of existing paving and site preparation for temporary apparatus bay building and temporary living quarters unit. Installation of an underground detention vault and construction of the temporary metal building.

Phase II: Demolition of the existing fire station and construction of a new 13,347 SF wood framed one-story fire station with a second level mechanical mezzanine. The new station includes 3 drive through bays, one non-drive through bay, meeting room, support facilities and living quarters.

Phase III: Connecting final utilities, removing temporary living quarters and dismantling of temporary metal building apparatus bay.
